Last month, the stones of Locronan saw more than 50 painters and artists settling around the streets for a day 'plein air' (outside painting) competition. My friend Fred Evenat, also a brilliant accordionist, decided he'd spend the day inside, in Ostaleri Ti Jos, the best pub in the west, where we play trad music every thursday. He took the day to prepare the pencil work, color will come later, when my picture comes he says.
